Well.  It has been waaayyy too long since I last posted.  Thanksgiving!  Sheesh!

We made our trek home for Christmas!  What a wonderful time we had!  it was SO good to see everyone!  The kids have all grown at least a foot!

We took the red-eye flight, leaving Thursday the 15th at 10pm, and flew straight to SLC and arrived about 7:30 am.  (Poor) Rachel who flew in the night before and got to bed at about 2am, came and picked us up.  It was fun walking into our home and remembering fun things - like the new back splash that we finished right before we left.  And McKay and Kristen have rearranged some of the furniture.  We are going to use some of their ideas when we get back!

I bought a Hawaiian Christmas tree here in Hawaii and shipped it home.  It is a 5 foot palm tree with lights on it.  Jerry thought it was the ugliest thing he ever saw, but with it decorated and "arranged" it is growing on him.  I think it will be a fun addition to the family!

Saturday morning we all went to Spanish Fork for the baptism of the three cousins:  Bryant and Caitlyn Perkins, and Brynna Francis.  It was a lovely time.  Afterwards, we took down chairs and put up tables and had a luncheon for all three families.  Francis, Johnson, and Perkins.  Everyone brought something and it was a veritable feast!

I took some pictures, but, of course,  not of any of the "baptisee's" !  Anyone that has pictures, feel free to add them!

Sunday morning, we all headed out Eagle Mountain way for the blessing of Maren.  It is so wonderful seeing all of our family together for these wonderful occasions.  We are truly blessed!  Once again, I took no pictures.  If any of my children did, feel free to add them.  After church, we went to Adam and Catherine's house for dinner.  It was another wonderful day.

Cory and Rebekah and children were due to arrive Saturday night.  Last year,  on their way to the airport, they hit a deer -  well, actually, it had a death wish.  It waited and waited for them and then jumped in front of them at just the wrong time - for them.  It totalled their car. This year, the plane they were to board to fly to Utah, was hit by lightening as it was landing in Ohio.  It ruined some part that had to be flown in.  But, there was also an ice storm/big storm arriving, and it delayed the part coming.  And it prevented them from driving back home.  A kind lady at the airport gave them voucher's for two nights at a local hotel.  I am so glad they like their brother's, sister, cousins, aunts and uncles!  Otherwise, I think it would be hard to convince them to keep coming back over the holidays!

They finally arrived Monday night and were happily greeted by the family.  I love watching the cousins be with each other!  They have such a good time!  (Most of the time...😏)

Tuesday, the mom's and a LOT of Auntie Rachel spent the day making gingerbread houses for the kids to decorate.  After the kids are done, the adults decorate theirs.  I wasn't very good at taking pictures this trip apparently.  I only have a picture of Jerry's Hawaiian themed gingerbread house.  Once again, if  you have a picture or ten to share, please do!

I do have a video of the kids working on theirs.  But can't upload it.  I think it is too big even though it is just over a minute long.  Any ideas?

Got it!!

Turn DOWN your volume!

This is Jerry's gingerbread house:

I posted two pictures on Facebook.  What a difference a day makes!  (Sound like a good title for a song!🎜🎝

Dinner is ready - (to be continued)
